范文:
This cartoon displays a very soothing scene. An old lady bought some stuff from a convenience store, and just at the moment when she was about to leave, the store keeper ran out to her because she had paid an extra two yuan. Though that is not a big amount of money, I believe the old lady must be greatly impressed by the keeper’s honesty.
It is without doubt that the cartoon aims at addressing a serious problem prevailing in today’s society, that is, the lack honesty in the field of business. For instance, many businessmen are so obsessed with making profit that they simply forget that they are supposed to serve the people with best products and services. Therefore, there emerge fake products, cheating services and unfulfilled promises. In contrast, the kind-hearted keeper of this drawing practices honesty in every detail of her work. Her attitude gives customer the sense that her product and service are of first-class quality, which would guarantee her more customersand credit.
The store keeper’s practice is exactly what we should advocate among all businesses. That is because, honesty not only renders clients temporary satisfaction, but can also build long-term customer trust. The latter is one of the key factors for market expansion and business success.

感謝父母的信
Dear my parents,
This letter is to tell you my true feelings from the bottom of my heart. Although we can keep in virtual touch every day, I still feel it not enough to let you know how much I love you and how much I’ve appreciated what you’ve done for me.
In the past 20 years, you have done a lot for me. Firstly, thank you so much for bringing me up. I know how hard you've being working in the past. I can imagine how many difficulties and obstacles you've conquered. Second,I want to thank you for your good education on me. There is an old saying goes like this “parents are the first teachers to their children”. Both of you are the typical ones.
The most important thing that I want to say “thank you” is for your great admiration on my own freedom. You told me to look over the horizons and to pursuit my own dreams without hesitation.
I really feel that my pen fails me when I am writing this thank you letter. The only thing I hope you can do for me is to take good care of yourselves and you will be always proud of me.
Yours beloved
Son
2017高考英語(yǔ)作文篇4
Be YourSelfIn every school a "top" crowd sets the pace, while the others follow their lead. Let's say the top crowd decides that it is smart to wear bright red sweaters. Pretty soon everybody is wearing a bright red sweater. There is nothing wrong with that, except the fact that on some people a bright red sweater is extremely unbecoming. The situation can even become dangerous, if the top crowd decides that it is smart to drink or to drive cars at seventy miles an hour. Then the people who follow the lead are endangering their lives. They are like the sheep being led to the butcher.
Now, chances are that you have come across situations like these more than once in your life; chances are that one time or another you probably did something you knew to be wrong. You may have excused yourself by saying, "Gee, the crowd does it." Well, let the crowd do it, but don't do it yourself. Learn to say, "No."
Develop your own standards and your own judgment. If you know the crowd is planning something you disagree with, have the courage to bow out politely. You'll have the satisfaction of standing on your own two feet. Remember this in your heart, you are the unique one in the world, just be yourself.

1. 校園安全十分重要
2. 因此,學(xué)校應(yīng)當(dāng)……
3. 我們自己應(yīng)當(dāng)……
Campus security and safety is a big issue and has become a focus in education, especially when tragic events happened time and time again on caroms. The recent stampede at a middle school in Hunan Province is still fresh in our memory. It took the lives of eight teenagers and injured 26 others.
The tragic events serve as a wake-up call. It warns that to safeguard the students, there is still much to be done. Schools across the country should take safety education seriously and conduct it compulsorily. Besides, they should revise their emergency preparedness plans and tighten security. For example, security guards should patrol on campus around teaching buildings and student dorms, and enforce strict entrance checks, barring entry to anyone carrying a gun or a knife.
As students, we should enhance our awareness of safety — that is, being aware of safety issues and of potential hazards in our daily life. For example, foresee the possible incidents and keep away from crowded places. Lock the dorm at night or whenever we are alone in the dorm. If possible, we should also have some first-aid training in order to help us survive emergency situations.

Recently graffiti has become more noticeable in my college. I feel quite annoyed at them, especially when some of my classmates praise them as a kind of so-called art. Confronted with this impolite phenomenon, I can't help asking myself: what is wrong with today's teenagers?
In my opinion, graffiti is a form of vandalism. They are a mess and are ugly to look at. Meanwhile, walls are public places, and they should not be used to express personal views and feelings.
I really think vandalism should be stopped, and those who refuse to stop this bad practice should be punished. We should clear away these ugly expressions and drawings so that our college may return to its true self--a clean, quiet place for study, teaching and research.
