The Great Wall is a great building of the Chinese nation and a world heritage site. The Great Wall, built on mountains, is majestic and tall, winding 12,000 miles, like the backbone of the Chinese people.
In early July of this year, my parents and I boarded the mountain customs, with the "first pass" plaque on the city building. My parents and I went to the old faucet in our travelling group, which is the easternmost part of the Great Wall. Looking east is blue and blue bohai sea, to the north is yanshan, meteorology. We took a picture of the old faucet, and went to meng jiangnu temple to visit meng jiangnu.
On a hot afternoon, my parents and I boarded the badaling Great Wall and went to the "good han slope", which was photographed by chairman MAO's "less than the Great Wall". We saw an archery, and a beacon. Standing on the Great Wall, the Great Wall is like a dragon, winding in the mountains, majestic and magnificent.
The terrain of the Great Wall is so dangerous, the Great Wall is so high, the ancient people have no cranes, no cars, all the materials are carried by hand, they have built such a Great Wall, they are amazing!
One day during the summer vacation, my mother and I went to the Great Wall to see the magnificent Great Wall.
My mother and I rode to the foot of the Great Wall, only to see the Great Wall rolling like a dragon, creeping slowly, reaching to the far horizon... We know the history and orientation of the Great Wall while we go to the Great Wall. The Great Wall of the Great Wall rises from the mountains and customs, the west to the jiayuguan pass, and the mountains. It is the crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese people. There were six beacon towers on the Great Wall of badaling, and it was said that the towers could spread intelligence thousands of miles away in ancient times. The beacon tower is divided into two layers, the upper part is the observatory, the lower ground is where the soldiers eat and sleep. Once you find out the enemy, you can ignite the beacon and spread the word far away. It shows how important it was in the military at that time. Under the Great Wall, there were thick woods, and from time to time they heard the chirping of birds and the voices of the tourists, who marveled at the great building. I wonder why the Great Wall, after more than two thousand years, is still so strong? It is a miracle in the history of architecture.
The Great Wall is too strong! It is reminiscent of the great motherland, and wish our beautiful motherland stronger and stronger.

Visiting the Great Wall on Badaling-游覽八達(dá)嶺長(zhǎng)城
Thursday May29,2003 Sunny
It is fine today. I made an appointment with my foreign friend Peter to visit the Great Wall on Badaling.
We set out early in the morning. We first took the subway and then the bus. On reaching the foot of the Great Wall, Peter was attracted by the landscape immediately."What a won der!" he said repeatedly and pulled me onto the cable car at once. We got a view of the beautiful scenery. After a while, we got to the Great Wall. Peter was very excited. He touched the bricks frequently. I explained to him when and how' we Chinese built the wall. He listened with great interest. When we entered a turret, Peter was more curious. I told him what the turret was and what it was built for. "It was really an amazing achievement!" Peter gasped with admiration and took several photos. Unconsciously, we found we had reached the Stele of Brave Man, the symbol of the Great Wall. A lot of visitors gathered around it and took photos. I translated the words on the stele for Peter. "Only the one who can reach the Great Wall is a brave man." "Really?" Peter asked jokingly. We both laughed.
It the time to go back. We were fascinated by the scenery and reluctant to leave. We really had a pleasant time.
