　　籌備了13年之久的北京環(huán)球主題公園終于在近日獲得審批，正式落戶北京通州。這將是環(huán)球影城在全球的第六個、亞洲第三個主題公園。1.2平方公里的占地面積，將使北京環(huán)球影城成為最大的一個。該主題公園預計于2019年建成。

　　9月25日，北京環(huán)球主題公園項目正式獲得了國家發(fā)改委審批，將由4家國有企業(yè)共同設立的北京首寰文化旅游投資有限公司(以下簡稱首寰投資)和康卡斯特NBC環(huán)球公司旗下的環(huán)球主題公園及度假區(qū)集團合資擁有。

　　Universal Studios will open its first .3bn (£2bn) Chinese theme park after 13 years of trying to enter the booming entertainment market.

　　Hollywood director Steven Spielberg will help design the Beijing Universal park, the company said on Monday.

　　The park is being developed with local state firm Beijing Tourism Group.

　　Universal is the latest US firm to enter China's fast-growing entertainment sector after rivals Walt Disney and DreamWorks Animation.

　　The company did not say when the theme park would open, but reports say it will be in 2019.

　　Both Disney's .4bn theme park and DreamWorks' .1bn entertainment complex with Chinese partners are expected to open in 2016 in Shanghai.

　　Film studios are in a big rush to build theme parks in the world's second-largest economy as a rapidly-growing middle class is spending more money on entertainment and travel.

　　In April, Disney said it was increasing investment in its Shanghai Disney theme park by another 0m after striking a deal with a Chinese joint venture partner.

　　Growth in China's entertainment and media market is expected to more than double from 2013 to 8bn by 2015, according to a PricewaterhouseCoopers global study.
