Respected Alliance for Healthy Cities:
Jiangning District of Nanjing City has applied and joined Alliance for Healthy Cities in 2010. After joining, Jiangning District was always following the regulations, performing its duties and promoting the development of healthy city. While due to the work change of related employees, this issue has not been finely connected, which resulting in membership fee arrears during 2012 to 2015. The above led to Jiangning District’s retreating from Alliance for Healthy Cities, for which, we regret deeply.
Jiangning District pay much attention in developing healthy city. The District is now making further efforts to create more healthy environment, popularize health education of and promote health literacy of the whole people, advocate healthy lifestyles and increase the health level of the whole people. The District is consistently making arduous efforts to build Healthy Jiangning District. Compared with the standards and demands of Alliance for Healthy Cities, we think that lots of works are waiting to be done by Jiangning District in the process of healthy city building and development.
