Tamas Wells(一般譯為塔馬斯·韋爾斯)，是澳大利亞墨爾本的一支樂隊，成立于2000年初，曲風清新、平緩而又優(yōu)美。
該樂隊在亞洲尤受歡迎，除澳大利亞的Popboomerang唱片公司外，在中國、日本、韓國分別有唱片公司代理發(fā)行其專輯。

Tamas Wells樂團來自澳洲墨爾本， 最早成立于2000年初，當時只有Owen Gray及Ben Castle兩名成員，發(fā)行的第一張EP《Hello Jealousy》是張帶點政治意味的民謠唱片，創(chuàng)作靈感來自當年的“第三世界國家債務解除運動”，第二年鼓手Nathan Collins的加入，而接下來緊密的巡回演出，也為Tamas Wells在當地樂界積累了不少人氣。
2002年3月和8月分別發(fā)行了兩張廣受好評的EP《Cigarettes, a Tie and a Free Magazine》及《Stitch In Time》，Ben中途退出，接著加入了Tamas和Anthony。知名制作人Tim Whitten在聽過《Stitch in Time》之后頗為欣賞，邀請他們來悉尼的Megaphon studios錄制第一張專輯。
2004年樂團3月30日發(fā)布的第一張專輯《A Mark On The Pane》被Inpress Magazine雜志評為當年最美的唱片之一，并在澳大利亞的音樂榜單AIR charts上獲得第16名的成績。同年，成員Tamas Wells前往緬甸，并在當地參加短期的志愿者工作。
2006年初，Tamas Wells與妻子、女兒遷居緬甸的仰光，并參加一個有關艾滋病的志愿者服務項目。在此期間，他創(chuàng)作出了該樂團的代表作品《valder fields》。 3月，樂團發(fā)布第二張專輯《A Plea en Vendredi》。這一年起，樂團與中國、日本唱片公司簽訂協議，日本、中國專輯由他們代理發(fā)行。
