餐飲英語對話：進(jìn)餐館
Waitress: Good evening. Do you have a reservation?
Wilson: Yes. The reservation is under Lin.

Waitress: If you follow me, I will show you to your table.

講解：
1. 這段對話發(fā)生在顧客剛剛進(jìn)餐館時。Reservation見是“預(yù)定、預(yù)約”的意思，在好一點的餐館里吃飯一般都需要提前預(yù)約，而當(dāng)你進(jìn)入一家餐館時，侍者首先就會問你是否有預(yù)約，Do you have a reservation?
2. 以誰的名字預(yù)定座位或是酒店房間一般用介詞under，比如，I have made a reservation for a double room in the Hilton Hotel under Mr. Peterson. 我用彼得森的名字在希爾頓飯店訂了一個雙人間。
3. 國外的餐館里不一定允許吸煙，即使允許，一般也分為吸煙區(qū)和非吸煙區(qū)，即smoking area和non-smoking area，所以對話中的non-smoking seating就是非吸煙區(qū)的座位。
4. 當(dāng)別人對你表示感謝時，你可以說"You're welcome."意思是“不用謝;沒什么”。

“AA制”怎么說?

Split the bill，按照字面意思就知道它是指“平攤費用”，例如：Shall we split the bill? 也可以簡單說：We'll split. / Let's split. “平攤”還有個說法叫：go halves/halfers，例如：Let's go halves/halfers on lunch today. 不過這種說法對于有些老外來說比較陌生，用split相對比較保險啦。
