俞敏洪:相信奮斗的力量（雙語(yǔ)）

　　同學(xué)們好：

　　我始終相信任何一個(gè)人想要改變自己的人生，想要改變自己的命運(yùn)，最佳的法寶或者說最好的力量，就是去進(jìn)行奮斗，我相信在座的各位同學(xué)坐在這兒也是來吸取這種力量。

　　我們每一個(gè)人出生都不一樣，曾經(jīng)年輕的時(shí)候，抱怨自己生長(zhǎng)在一個(gè)貧困家庭。曾經(jīng)年輕的時(shí)候抱怨過自己的父母，什么也不能給我?；毂楸贝笳吣辏瑳]有一個(gè)女人愛上我的時(shí)候，我發(fā)現(xiàn)我的很多同學(xué)都已經(jīng)談了好幾次戀愛。有的同學(xué)已經(jīng)娶上了美麗的女人，成立了美好的家庭。當(dāng)我發(fā)現(xiàn)至少每個(gè)同學(xué)都擁有一個(gè)健康身體的時(shí)候，我在大學(xué)三年級(jí)的時(shí)候得了肺結(jié)核。發(fā)現(xiàn)好像所有的生活黑暗和不如意都集中在你一個(gè)人身上，幸虧在這樣的過程中間我始終沒有放棄自己身上唯一的力量，這個(gè)力量就是我覺得只要努力，只要奮斗，只要給我足夠的時(shí)間，我應(yīng)該能夠改變自己的命運(yùn)，我應(yīng)該能夠讓自己的生活變得更好。而這種感覺來自于什么地方呢，就是來自于我從小在農(nóng)村的那種生活，來自于我自己高考的啟示，因?yàn)閷?duì)于我來說，農(nóng)村孩子長(zhǎng)大唯一可能的歸宿就是在農(nóng)村。

　　這句話，我到今天還能記得，大家想想這個(gè)印象多深，所以我就認(rèn)定了自己一定要考大學(xué)，第二是我認(rèn)定了一定要讓這個(gè)老師失望一次。但這只是一次美好的愿望，我高考第一年出來以后，英語(yǔ)分?jǐn)?shù)只考了33分，盡管當(dāng)年這個(gè)錄取的英語(yǔ)分?jǐn)?shù)線也不高，最低大專錄取分?jǐn)?shù)線就是我們江蘇有一個(gè)地區(qū)師范學(xué)院，只有40分，但是我只考了33分，差了7分，那么我就想，如果我再努力一年，我也許就超過40分了，也許我就進(jìn)這個(gè)大專去了，所以我就邊干農(nóng)活邊復(fù)習(xí)。當(dāng)時(shí)農(nóng)村連電燈都還沒有，在煤油燈底下復(fù)習(xí)，我就是在高考復(fù)習(xí)的第二年眼睛近視了，所以第二年去高考的時(shí)候考出來，考了55分，我拿到這個(gè)分?jǐn)?shù)就特別高興，為什么呢，我想錄取分?jǐn)?shù)線是40分，我是55分，那么我無論如何能夠進(jìn)那個(gè)師范學(xué)院了。結(jié)果分?jǐn)?shù)線下來以后，師范學(xué)院的分?jǐn)?shù)線提到了60分，結(jié)果又差了5分。高考兩次失敗以后反而讓我增加了信心，我就覺得我非要考第三年不可，所以我就跟我母親說，第三年我無論如何不干農(nóng)活，就是說一定要每天，所有的時(shí)間都交給我，但是我母親就說我再給你一年時(shí)間，但是我們家確實(shí)很窮，所以第三年如果你再考不上的話，你就只能是老老實(shí)實(shí)回來當(dāng)農(nóng)民。所以我第三年就拼命了，每天早上六點(diǎn)起來，晚上十二點(diǎn)睡覺，到第三年參加高考的時(shí)候，成績(jī)一出來我就發(fā)現(xiàn)我的成績(jī)超過了北京大學(xué)的錄取分?jǐn)?shù)線，所以后來就有幸跟撒貝寧這樣的名人成了校友。

　　我后來在八十年代末的時(shí)候想要出國(guó)去讀書，但是我聯(lián)系幾十個(gè)大學(xué)，十幾個(gè)大學(xué)給我發(fā)錄取通知書，沒有一個(gè)大學(xué)給我發(fā)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金，都說你只能自己出錢了，而當(dāng)時(shí)我在北大的工資，連獎(jiǎng)金帶基本工資加起來大概一個(gè)月二百塊錢，換成美元，三十美元左右。美國(guó)的最低學(xué)費(fèi)一個(gè)大學(xué)大概三萬(wàn)美金，還不算你的生活費(fèi)，我算了一下，一百年不吃不喝都不夠。所以我就想到了我應(yīng)該要賺更多的錢，怎么賺更多的錢呢?人有了需求就會(huì)有想法，有了想法就會(huì)有創(chuàng)新。當(dāng)時(shí)剛好中國(guó)的外語(yǔ)培訓(xùn)業(yè)已經(jīng)開始轟轟烈烈地起來了，所以我就想我為什么不自己辦一個(gè)培訓(xùn)班呢?所以就有了新東方。新東方完全不是我理想的產(chǎn)物，有人說俞老師你做新東方，是不是想到了你要為中國(guó)教育要做貢獻(xiàn)，我想到的就是我要錢。但是今天的我，倒真的實(shí)實(shí)在在想要為中國(guó)的培訓(xùn)事業(yè)，和中國(guó)的教育做點(diǎn)事情了。為什么?因?yàn)槟阌辛诉@樣的實(shí)力，你有了這樣力量，你有了這樣的基礎(chǔ)，那自然你就會(huì)做，所以我們不用去想太多.很多你沒有想到的事情可能會(huì)做到，那么為什么會(huì)做到呢?就是因?yàn)槟阍诓粩嗟馗淖冏约?。我們永遠(yuǎn)不可能說我們站在這個(gè)舞臺(tái)的中央，你就坐著，天上就掉下餡餅來，永遠(yuǎn)不可能!這個(gè)世界上有偶然的運(yùn)氣，有必然的運(yùn)氣，如果你把偶然的運(yùn)氣當(dāng)做必然的運(yùn)氣，你的生命就會(huì)越來越差。但是一個(gè)人可以追求必然的運(yùn)氣，什么叫必然的運(yùn)氣，必然運(yùn)氣就是通過自己的努力，踏踏實(shí)實(shí)地使自己達(dá)到了某一個(gè)狀態(tài)，達(dá)到了某一個(gè)境界，用你這個(gè)狀態(tài)，用你這個(gè)境界，用你這個(gè)身價(jià)去換取你所需要的東西，二十五年前的我在北大拿一百多塊錢的工資，這就是我的身價(jià)。十五年前的我在新東方我能掙的錢也就是勉強(qiáng)能夠養(yǎng)活自己，但是今天的我已經(jīng)算是中國(guó)的在美國(guó)比較好的上市公司的老總之一，這個(gè)東西是我自己通過努力得來的，所以就不太容易被人剝奪，這個(gè)東西是我自己努力得來的，所以我得到了心安理得。這個(gè)東西是我努力得來的，所以我更加相信努力的力量，為我自己的后半輩子，我還會(huì)去持續(xù)不斷地繼續(xù)努力，這就是一個(gè)正向的，積極心態(tài)的循環(huán)。
