商務(wù)英語證書(BUSINESS　 ENGLISH　 CERTIFICATE)是教育部考試中心和英國劍橋大學考試委員會合作，于1993年起舉辦的考試。該系列考試是一項語言水平考試，根據(jù)公務(wù)或商務(wù)工作的實際需要，對考生在一般工作環(huán)境下和商務(wù)活動中使用英語的能力從聽、說、讀、寫四個方面進行全面考查，對成績及格者提供由英國劍橋大學考試委員會頒發(fā)的標準統(tǒng)一的成績證書。該證書由于其頒發(fā)機構(gòu)的權(quán)威性，在英國、英聯(lián)邦各國及歐洲大多數(shù)國家的商業(yè)企業(yè)部門獲得認可，成為確認證書持有者英語能力證明的首選證書，同時也是在所有舉辦該項考試的國家和地區(qū)求職的“通行證”。
