　　fill v. 裝滿常用于固定結(jié)構(gòu)：fill A with B用B裝滿A;

　　be filled with sth 裝滿了某物。例如：

　　They often fill the box with coins.他們經(jīng)常把盒子裝滿硬幣。The bottle is filled with milk.= The bottle is full of milk.瓶子里裝滿了牛奶。

　　seem v. 好像常用于句型：seem to do sth 似乎要去做某事;

　　It seems that... 似乎……。例如：

　　It seems to rain soon.

　　= It seems that it’s going to rain soon.

　　天好像要下雨了。

　　make v. 制造;使得其過去式和過去分詞均為made。

　　常用于：make sb do sth 使得某人做某事;

　　make a noise 發(fā)出噪音;

　　make it 成功;be made of 由……制成(可看出原材料);be made from由……制成(不可看出原材料);be made in... 在某地制造。

　　find out查明(真相)與其意思相近的詞有find; look for。

　　find意為“發(fā)現(xiàn);找到”，強調(diào)結(jié)果，過去式與過去分詞均為found;

　　look for意為“尋找”，強調(diào)過程。

　　let sb down = make sb disappointed讓某人失望I don’t want to let my parents down.

　　我不想讓我的父母失望。

　　learn sth by heart記住某事物相當于remember或memorize。

　　have no idea about sth 對某事一無所知

　　相當于don’t know about sth不了解某事。

　　avoid doing sth 避免做某事

　　difficult adj. 困難的;difficulty n. 困難

　　invite v. 邀請;invitation n. 邀請

　　relax v. 放松;relaxed adj. 感到放松的;relaxing adj. 令人放松的

　　decision n. 決定;decide v. 決定常用于：make a decision to do sth

　　做出做某事的決定。

　　mind v. 介意;n. 腦海常用于：Never mind. 沒關(guān)系。I don’t mind. 我不介意。Would you mind doing sth?你介不介意做某事?in my mind 在我腦海中;Mind your own business. 別多管閑事。

　　either意為“也”用在否定句、疑問句的末尾。

　　同義詞also用在句子中間(助動詞后面，行為動詞前面)，too用在肯定句末尾。either還有“兩個中的任意一個”的意思，常用于either of... ……中的任意一個;either... or... 或者……或者……

　　表示花費的搭配sth costs sb some money某物花了某人一些錢;It takes sb some time to do sth做某事花了某人一些時間;sb spends some time/money on sth某人在某物上花了一些時間/錢;sb spends some time/money doing sth某人花一些時間/錢做某事;sb pays (some money) for sth某人為某物付款。

　　lie n. 謊言;v. 撒謊;躺;位于過去式與過去分詞為：lie → lied → lied(說謊);lie → lay → lain(躺;位于);lay → laid → laid (放置;下蛋;產(chǎn)卵)。
