1. 本句可以作為觀點(diǎn)句使用，首先說(shuō)明一種語(yǔ)言永遠(yuǎn)消失不是什么好事，但表述也并不絕對(duì)，因?yàn)樵诰湮惭a(bǔ)充到“要看這一特定語(yǔ)言的前景如何”
2. losing a language forever，動(dòng)名詞做主語(yǔ)，表示“一種語(yǔ)言永遠(yuǎn)消失”
3. regrettable，表示消極意義的形容詞，意思是“令人遺憾的”，“可惜的”，之前使用副詞來(lái)修飾形容詞，obviously表示“很顯然”，“明顯地”。日常寫(xiě)作中應(yīng)該不斷增加表示積極或消極意義形容詞的積累
4. so 表示因果關(guān)系，屬于句內(nèi)銜接
5. it may be worthwhile for sb. to do sth. 常用句型需要積累，同時(shí)注意may be屬于非絕對(duì)化表達(dá)，雅思寫(xiě)作的議論文中不會(huì)有太多非黑即白的觀點(diǎn)，因此很多時(shí)候表達(dá)中需要“留有余地”
6. intervene with funding，干預(yù)，干預(yù)用的手段是funding，即“提供資金”，同時(shí)需要注意介詞with不要用錯(cuò)，補(bǔ)充：to hope for government funding 希望獲得政府資助。
7. keep it alive，表示“使之繼續(xù)存在”，注意keep+n+adj的用法
8.depend on 表示“取決于…”，“根據(jù)…”，此處用作狀語(yǔ)
9. the future prospects 表示“前景”
10. the particular language 表示“特定語(yǔ)言”
