文中的Anti-loser Union就是指"反廬舍聯(lián)盟"。"廬舍"是loser的諧音，是指每天在網(wǎng)上耗費2小時以上的工作時間，沉迷于virtual social networking site(虛擬社交網(wǎng)站)等與工作毫不相干的事情，無主動進取心態(tài)的工作白領(lǐng)一族。
為了bypass the company's monitoring(逃避公司監(jiān)督)，一些員工開始使用wireless Internet access繼續(xù)登陸SNS(social networking site)，上傳照片，修改personal profile(個人資料)，有些人還在網(wǎng)上玩online game(網(wǎng)絡(luò)游戲)來kill time(消磨時間)。

The Chinese mainland reported 3,393 confirmed A/H1N1 flu cases in the 48 hours ending at 3 p.m. Wednesday, the ministry said.
So far, nearly 75 percent of the patients have recovered. Among the 285 cases of serious conditions, 54 have been cured, it said.

More than 100 universities from about 20 countries are expected to send humanoid robots to compete in 16 events in five categories, including track and field, balls, combat, dancing as well as domestic service such as cleaning and medical care, said Hong Rongbing, a professor with Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) and an official with the China National Conference of Artificial Intelligence.
哈爾濱工業(yè)大學(xué)教授、中國人工智能學(xué)會會員洪炳镕說，來自近20個國家的100多所大學(xué)的機器人將參加5種類別包括田徑、球類、格斗、舞蹈以及清潔和醫(yī)療護理之類的家政服務(wù)等16個項目的比賽。
在上面的報道中，humanoid robot就是"仿人機器人"，有時簡稱為humanoid bot，指a robot with its overall appearance based on that of the human body, allowing interaction with made-for-human tools or environments。Humanoid一詞的意思是"具有人的形狀或特性的，類人的"，也可以指"類人動物"。
